Public services to students, stakeholders and the general public who use services at the Balikpapan State Polytechnic so far have been running smoothly, but have not fully met the quality expected by service users.

In order to meet the need for data to support the Accreditation of Higher Education Institutions (AIPT), it is necessary to measure the level of service success in the form of a Community Satisfaction Index (IKM) / Evaluation of service users at the Balikpapan State Polytechnic.

One of the efforts to improve the quality of public services is to conduct a Service User Satisfaction Index Survey at the Balikpapan State Polytechnic as a benchmark for assessing the level of quality of existing services.
