With the regulation of the Higher Education Quality Assurance System (SPM Dikti) in the Higher Education Law, all universities in Indonesia are obliged to carry out the SPM Dikti in a style that is most in line with the peculiarities of higher education, so that a Quality Culture can be developed in universities in general, and the State Polytechnic. To realize the Quality Culture, universities need to implement an Internal Quality Assurance System (SPMI) that is in accordance with the characteristics of universities. Balikpapan State Polytechnic has implemented SPMI since 2015 – now which has been adapted to the needs of Poltekba. The SPMI document storage system has also been carried out digitally.
